The fantastic 80th victory parade showed the
synchronization and discipline of the Chinese Military. It also showed that
some nations that make unnecessary noise are no match for the Chinese. It has continuously
survived for 5 millennia, while some nations less than 250 years old are still
battling their internal demons.
China and its original BRICS (minus Brazil and South Africa) mates are global Military and economic powers. Now, an expanded BRICS+ accounts for 46% of the global population and about 52% of the Global GDP. BRICS+ has one goal- "a multi-polar world where every nation needs to be treated with respect". Nobody desires a nation to impose itself as the global police.
By 2047, BRICS+ will completely control the global trade and politics, having a stronger military than the US and EU combined. But why did this gang-up happen?
The Second World War was started by a set of mad colonizing Europeans who destroyed Europe. America was forced into it by Japan's attack on Pearl Harbor. America before then had preferred to stay out of Europe's internal crises. But after the attack on Pearl Harbor by the Japanese and the US's sudden waking up to the reality that it could be attacked was, I believe, the main reason why America decided to fund Europe's reconstruction through the Marshal Plan. The concept was simple: he who has the funds dictates its use. Blame the Americans for it, I will not. Circumstances brought it upon on them.
America's psyche was further mortified by its (mis) interpretation of the Communist system, and it feared that its own unpreparedness would cause another "Pearl Harbor", from a nation far away from its shores. And therefore, America and the Hawks within, started to redraw maps based on its own "capitalist" ideology. It also heavily used its media to really convince its own citizens to believe that America was always under threat and that only its own capitalist ideology was the way forward. It was America's preemptive strike, to soothe its own fears.
Naturally, over the decades, America forgot that the rest of the world was evolving, and it refused to evolve with it. It was busy still holding on to its vision of a WW2 world.... The rest of the world was tired of a nation seen to be forcefully policing (more like imposing) the world without giving a thought to older civilizations, cultures, and norms that existed long before Georgie decided to create his Empire in 1776.
Fast forward to now, and you have China, a very old civilization, that has become a superpower. You have BRICS+, which is also made up of the Majority of nations that have histories and cultures older than that of the US, who have had enough of what is seen as the incorrect US interference in the world. So that sometimes, even in the United Nations, all members would be united in their vote for a cause, with only the US against. Meaning: even the US, which has prided itself as a “proponent of democracy,” does not believe in the true meaning of the word DEMOCRACY.
The simple fact is this: this US was a creation of Europe (to an extent, Japan). BRICS+ was created as a reaction to the unilateralism the US and Europe had created.
The world has come full circle.
